Ancaster in Minor Provincial Championships
District 1 Champion Ancaster takes on the best Minor teams from around the Province. Tournament is hosted by the Windsor South Canadians, all games are at Vet's Park.
5 team round robin, top 3 advance to the semi finals.
Championship Game Update- Ancaster defeated Windsor South Canadians 13-3 to claim the Provincial Championship! Second time in history for Ancaster Little League.
Semi Final Update- Windsor South Canadians defeated East Nepean 10-7 in 7 innings, to advance to Saturday's final vs. Ancaster.
August 5 Update- Ancaster defeated Windsor South Canadians 5-1 in the resumed game from the previous night, to finish 4-0, and advance to the finals. Today at noon is the semi final game between Windsor South Canadians and East Nepean. Tomorrow at 10 am is the Championship game where Ancaster awaits the winner of the semi final.
August 4 Update- Ancaster and Windsor South Canadians game was suspended in the third inning with Ancaster leading 1-0. The hope is today, the game will finish as weather continues to be a factor in Windsor. So far the semi final and final are pushed back by a day.
August 3 Update- Ancaster defeated Kingston 12-0 to advance to the playoff round. Tonight's game against Windsor South Canadians determines first place, and a bye to the Championship game!
August 2 Update- Ancaster defeated East Nepean 12-2 yesterday afternoon, and will face Kingston at 2 pm. A win today puts Ancaster into the playoffs. The game on Wednesday against Windsor South Canadians will determine who will get the bye into the finals regardless of the result today.
July 30 Update- Ancaster defeated Orleans 14-0. The boys have Sunday off, and will play on Monday at 2 pm vs. East Nepean.
