Ancaster in the Canadian Intermediate Championships in Vancouver, BC this week, the winner of this tournament goes to California for the World Series!

Semi Final Update- Semi final got delayed, tied at 0 in the bottom of the 4th inning, with British Columbia threatening with a Runner on 3rd with 1 out. Game resumes at 3 pm Eastern today. The Championship game is 6 pm today.

Ancaster lost to British Columbia 7-0 ending their National Championship hopes. A Great tournament, and a new banner coming back to Ancaster!

The Host South Vancouver defeated British Columbia 3-2 to win the National Championship and will represent Canada at the Intermediate World Series in Livermore, California!

We wish South Vancouver the best of luck in representing Canada, and thank you to your host committee for a wonderful tournament.

Ancaster has a bye on Day 1.

July 18 Update- Ancaster opened their tournament with a 10-1 victory over the Alberta Champion Lethbridge. Ancaster now joins only British Columbia as the only undefeated team.

July 19 Update- Our boys lost a tough 2-1 game which was scoreless through 7 innings yesterday, today they have a noon (9a PDT) clash with Atlantic Champion Cape Breton!

July 20 Update- to say nothing else the last two games, although losses, have been exciting. This marathon game went into the 10th inning before Cape Breton pulled out a 10-9 victory. Ancaster is still in the playoffs and has a crucial game against Quebec Champion Diamond Baseball Academy, both teams are 1-2, and a win for either would put them in the driver seat.

July 21 Update- Ancaster defeated Quebec Champion Diamond Baseball Academy for a massive victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. Tonight they continue by taking on the host team at 8 pm. Ancaster is tied for 3rd with the Atlantic Champion Cape Breton. Ancaster owns the tiebreaker with Quebec and Alberta who each have one victory. And face the Prairies on Saturday.

July 22 Update- Ancaster lost another tight game to the Host 6-5, now in a Win and In game against the Prairies Champion. We know 3 spots out of the 4 heading into the last day of play. British Columbia is the top seed, either the Host or Atlantic Champion will be the 2 seed, they play tonight, loser is the 3 seed.

July 23 Update- Ancaster went to extras again, and lost 8-7, however advanced via the run ratio tiebreaker. Semi final on Monday!
