Ancaster in District 1 Championships
This week July 4-12, 2025 in Martino Park, Dundas the Minor All Stars and Major All Stars compete in the District 1 Championships.

Update: July 11 The Ancaster 10s defeated High Park 11-1 to capture the league's 6th District 1 Minor Championship, and second title in four seasons. Congratulations to Coach Mike Hook, and the rest of the Ancaster 10 year old team, amassing 43 runs for and only 5 runs against in the four District 1 Championship tournament games. This marks the league's fourth consecutive year winning a District 1 Championship banner (or better) and fifth in those four seasons.

July 8: Ancaster 10s scored 7 runs in the first inning and never looked backed advancing to the Championship game with a 12-2 victory over High Park. Next game is Friday night at 6 pm for the trophy and banner.

July 7: 
Ancaster 12s lost 16-6 in a game closer than the score indicated in the quarter finals. Thus ending their run in the District 1 Championship. Scores will be updated as the week goes on.

July 6: 
Ancaster 10s defeated Stoney Creek 16-1 to advance to the winners bracket final on Wednesday night. Ancaster 12s defeated Stoney Creek 10-0 to advance to the Elimination second round game against Oakville on Tuesday night. 

July 5:
 Ancaster 10s defeat Oakville 3-1 in a close all the way contest. Ancaster scored 1 in the bottom of the 5th to give them a two run cushion, and ended an Oakville rally with the tying run on first in the 6th to secure the victory. Ancaster 10s advance to Sunday at 10 am to face Stoney Creek in the second round.

Ancaster 12s lost to Dundas 12-3 in a game closer than the score indicated. Ancaster now plays Sunday at 3 pm against Stoney Creek in an elimination game.

The tournament begins Friday July 4, Ancaster is in action on Saturday July 5 with the 10s playing Oakville at 10 am, and 12s playing Dundas at 3 pm.

We hope to see lots of sedona red in Dundas next week as our Diamondbacks travel down to the Road to Provincial Championships.

Ancaster will represent District 1 at the Minor Provincial Championships July 25-August 2 in Brockville, ON
 
High Park will represent District 1 at the Ontario Little League Championships July 16-24 in Oakville, ON. They will be joined by Oakville as the Host of the Championships.
