Vulnerability Screening Check and Mandatory Training

Please note- as a coach/volunteer for Ancaster Little League, you are required to submit an up-to-date Vulnerability Sector Check. Completed checks must be submitted to the league no later than April 20th. Vulnerability Sector Checks obtained after January 1, 2025 are valid for two years, an Attestation will need to be completed for year two. Vulnerability Sector Checks obtained in 2024 will need a completed Attestation.

If you do not currently have a valid VSC to upload, please visit the following link to fill out the application. Get a Background Check | Hamilton Police Service. Please send a copy of your completed VSC to [email protected]. You will not be permitted to coach/volunteer without a submitted check. A volunteer letter can be provided to obtain your VSC if required. Please contact [email protected] if one is needed. If you require an Attestation for year 2 of your VSC, please contact [email protected] to obtain a Attestation form. ALL DOES NOT REIMBURSE FOR VSCS AS THEY CAN BE USED FOR OTHER SPORTS AND SCHOOL-RELATED ACTIVIES.

Mandatory Online Training

Please note- as a coach/volunteer for Ancaster Little League, you will be required to complete Annual Mandatory Abuse Awareness Training and/or the Little League Diamond Leader Program (mandatory for coaches) provided by Ancaster Little League. This training is required by Little League International to ensure the safety and well being for all participants involved.

Please visit the following link to complete the online training. Articles – Little League. Once training has been completed, all certificates must be either uploaded or emailed to [email protected]. You will not be permitted to coach/volunteer until all certificates have been submitted.
