Our History
Ancaster Little League provides recreational baseball opportunities to a community of approximately 25,000 within the boundaries of the former Township of Ancaster. Ancaster is located at the western end of Lake Ontario, about one hour from Toronto and one and a half hours from Buffalo. Founded in 1793, Ancaster is one of the oldest European communities established in the province, and in 2001 it was amalgamated into the City of Hamilton.

A look back at the early days of baseball in Ancaster
Since 1956, we have continuously ensured the youth of Ancaster have been able to engage in organized baseball. Ancaster is a community committed to baseball. Our continuing volunteer base, along with the City of Hamilton’s dedicated parks and recreation support, helps provide exceptional baseball and softball facilities.
Our Vision
The objective of Ancaster Little League is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and reverence, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger, and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy adults.
What we believe
All Directors, Officers, and Members of Ancaster Little League bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary. The molding of future citizens is of primary importance.
