Program Overview
Junior T-Ball was introduced in 2021 to help players take the next step from “stations and basics” into understanding how a baseball game works.
How game day typically works
  • A regulation game is approximately 5 innings
  • Teams are split into two groups
  • One group plays a game in the infield
  • The other group focuses on skills development in the outfield
  • Players rotate through defensive positions so everyone gets lots of involvement
Skills We Work On
  • Hitting fundamentals (stance, swing, and confidence)
  • Throwing and catching (simple cues and lots of reps)
  • Base running basics (where to go, when to run, and awareness)
  • Fielding fundamentals (ready position, glove work, and teamwork)
  • Sportsmanship, listening, and being a great teammate
What to Bring
  • Baseball glove
  • Batting helmet (each player must bring their own)
  • Running shoes or cleats (weather dependent)
  • Water bottle
  • Hat and sunscreen on sunny days
Good to know
Each player must bring their own batting helmet.
For Parents
  • We aim for smaller rosters so every player stays involved.
  • Players rotate positions to learn the game and stay engaged.
  • Coaches focus on encouragement, fundamentals, and having fun while learning.
Next Step After Junior T-Ball
Players typically move into Senior T-Ball (Age 7-8) once they are ready for more game structure and confidence at the plate.
