Ancaster Little League is proud to offer baseball programs for children ages 4-14 years old.
Blastball & T-ball teach the basic concepts of the game and the fundamentals of how the game is played. Rookie Ball, Minor and Major Division further develop players and their love for the game.
As of 2021 we will also be offering an Intermediate and Junior houseleague program. Intermediate is
a relatively new program in the Little League International model and is for Little League players ages
11-13. The pitching distance and bases are moved back and the outfield wall is at a minimum of 225
feet. Junior Little League is for ages 13 and 14 year olds, the pitching distance is set further back as with
All players are assessed for all of their fundamental baseball skill at the beginning of the season at a mass try-out. Teams will then be drafted based on an even distribution of skills across all the
teams. The season runs from early May until mid August and ends in a championship tournament.

To determine a player’s league age use the age chart below. Simply intersect the month and year of birth on the chart and check the farthest right had column to see the division that applies.
Blastball is for ages 4-5, T-Ball ages 6-7 (and 5 year olds who have played Blastball), Rookie Ball ages 7-8, Minor Division ages 9-10, Major Division ages 11-12 and Intermediate/Junior ages 11-14. A 7 year old may play choose to play either T-Ball or Rookie Ball depending on their experience level.
