Ancaster in Canadian Little League Championships
The Ancaster Diamondbacks are joining 5 other regional champions and the host Rocky Mountain Little League to determine who will advance to Williamsport, PA and represent Canada in the 2022 Little League World Series!

Round Robin Games will be broadcasted on cbcsports.ca
National Semi Final and National Championship games will be broadcasted on CBC Television AND cbcsports.ca

7 team round robin, top 4 teams make the Semi Finals

Although this tournament did not end with a trip to the biggest stage on the little diamond, we are incredibly proud of our Diamondbacks. In a historic summer, the team captured our first ever Ontario banner, and our third district banner. As always we back the dbacks!

Championship Update- Little Mountain Little League (BC) has won the 2022 Canadian Championships, and advance to the Little League World Series. We look forward to see how these young men represent us on the biggest stage on the small field. Good Luck Little Mountain! Go Canada!

Finals Update- #1 Little Mountain vs. #2 Moose Jaw for a trip to Williamsport. Little Mountain survived a 3-2 game against Rocky Mountain, while Moose Jaw got three late runs in a 5-2 victory over Calgary West. Time Change of the game now at 1 pm EDT.


Semi Final Update- The semi finals are set and have a western feel to them. In the first semi final #2 Prairies Champion Moose Jaw take on #3 Alberta Champion Calgary West. In the second semi final #1 British Columbia Champion Little Mountain takes on Host Rocky Mountain. The winners meet for a trip to Williamsport on Friday.

August 11 Update- Ancaster's slim semi final hopes were dashed when Rocky Mountain defeated Sydney and District in the first game of the day, eliminating them from championship contention. In the night cap Ancaster lost to Little Mountain 13-0.

August 10 Update- After a day off Ancaster takes top seed in the tournament Little Mountain in the final round robin game tonight 9 pm. Ancaster needs a lot of help in the first two games AND then needs a win to get a 3 way tie at 2-4 for fourth place.

August 9 Update- Ancaster lost to Moose Jaw yesterday 5-0, which puts a damper on their plans to get to the semi finals. The D-Backs will need a lot of help AND a win against Little Mountain on Wednesday. Off day today.

August 8 Update- Ancaster suffered a loss to Montreal Diamonds last night, to go 1-3, now faces two must win games against Moose Jaw tonight at 5:30 pm, followed by an off day, and then against Little Mountain on Wednesday.


August 7 Update- Ancaster lost a tight Friday contest to Rocky Mountain, to go 0-2, but rebounded against Sydney and District to get their first win yesterday. The boys play tonight under the lights at 9 pm against Montreal Diamonds.

August 5 Update- Ancaster lost 8-2 to open the tournament against Calgary West. The boys hit the field today against the host Rocky Mountain at 5:30 pm EDT.

August 2 Update- Travel Day for the Diamondbacks to Calgary
