As many of you have heard, the aluminum benches from our major diamond bleachers were stolen this past week. A GoFundMe has been set up to help with the replacement costs of the aluminum benches, and to do some additional welding work to our existing structure to prevent a reoccurrence. Any help we can receive would be greatly appreciated as we are a non-profit organization.
The aluminum benches were found at a local scrap yard. Unfortunately they have been heavily damaged and are unable to be reused.
The approximate cost to replace the boards is $12,500 and the welding will be an additional $1,500. As such our total fundraising goal is $14,000.
Please help us out with whatever you can and please pass this along to help us get the word out and raise the funds that we need so we can replace these boards as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
