Ancaster Little League is currently recruiting for the
following board members in order to ensure we can effectively operate our
programming for the 2024 Season! We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers
to fill the following positions:
Registrar:
Responsible for the registration of all Little Leaguers
in Ancaster, reporting league numbers, reporting payments required, and
communicating with the executive in a timely manner to ensure a successful
registration. Prepares reports monthly in the registration season; and prepares
and uploads registration data to Little League Data Centre. Assists as required
in District verification forms and processing for tournament time.
Commitment: During registration drive: 6-8 hours per month;
Non registration period: 1-2 hours per month
Website
Coordinator:
Responsible for maintenance of league website and working
with the web provider, and league executive to make the website a communication
tool to our players and families.
Commitment: average of 4-6 hours per month, more during
registration drive
Social
Media Coordinator:
Responsible for maintaining the league Facebook, Instagram and
Twitter pages; as well as building a social media following on any/all social
media platforms as deemed appropriate. Uses social media for league
communications on events, rainouts and other items as deemed necessary.
Reports to the executive on a monthly basis and assists the board make
decisions. Responds to inquiries through social media and assists the executive
with communication.
Commitment: average of 4-6 hours per month

– Minor
Responsible for finding and liaisoning with
coaches, setting teams and draft. Speaks for the league at the executive table.
Tracks standings and playoffs as well as enforces fair play rules with coaches.
Commitment: Off Season: 1-3 hours per month; In
Season: 20 hours per month
